Thank you for your interest in the scholarship. The Marilyn Louise Cargile Scholarship is open to any Cleveland Metropolitan public high school senior who is preparing to enter an accredited college/university. The Scholarship is designed to financially assist 3 qualified students with the cost of their books during the first year pursuing a degree from an accredited academic institutions of higher learning. The scholarships are awarded on a one-time basis. The individual applications will be reviewed by MLC Memorial Committee. Application deadlines will be April 1st of each School year.  Once a scholarship has been awarded, the applicant will need to submit a copy of their college billing statement showing their name and student ID number. MLC will then make the scholarship payment directly to the Institution of higher learning. MLC wishes you the best of success and luck in the future.
